Farmer’s Co-op Oil Company is pleased to announce that Kelly Peters is the new Store Manager at the Redwood C-Store. Kelly has been an employee at the Redwood Falls, Minnesota C-Store for 23 years. She first started her career at the C-Store as a Clerk. Kelly has seen a lot of change since she first started at the Redwood Falls convenience store. She explained, “We changed from a corporate CHS to a Renville cooperative on November 1, 2000. We have also seen some great upgrades to the carwash and the gas pumps now have a monitor that broadcasts weather, sports and in-store promotions!”
Since Kelly has been employed with the C-Store for so many years, she doesn’t expect a steep learning curve with her new role. The Store Manager responsibilities will include everything that goes along with the employees, such as scheduling shifts and handling questions that come from the public and vendors. Kelly is excited about the new opportunity, “It’s great to hear how the customers are reacting… Since I’ve been here so long, they seem as excited as I am!”
Kelly started her new role as Store Manager on October 14th, 2016. She is taking the reins from Marie Raden whose last day will be on October 27th, 2016. Marie started working at the Redwood C-Store as a cashier 24 years ago and became the Store Manager two years later. We want to offer Marie a sincere “Thank You” for her 24 years of service and congratulate her on her retirement!
There is always something new going on at the Redwood C-Store, such as the F’Real Milk Shake Machine, Coffee Club Card (for every 5 cups of coffee, you get the 6th free), and the Car Wash Club Card (after 10th purchased car wash, you get one free). But some things will never change – like a nice clean store and old fashioned service!
